Business Development Manager
As Business Development Manager, Jimmy applies his love for Kansas City, his passion for its growth, and his interest in meeting new people and businesses to his role in growing LJC and our clients. Over his 20-year career in sales, he’s worked in a variety of capacities, most recently in development for a pharmaceutical company. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Marquette University, with a minor in History, in 1996, and completed his MBA from Webster University in 2007.
His favorite part about his job is the opportunity to work with new people every day, get to know their needs, and how we can help them — and then seeing those relationships flourish as partnerships.
If he could go anywhere:
I’d like to experience Europe with my kids. I’ve been there several times personally, and to many different countries — but to take my kids on a long, long trip and just take it all in with them as they see the sights and learn new cultures, would be an absolute blast and something I know we would never forget.
His dream pet:
A Big Brown Bear. Not the kind that jump out and attack you on a trail anything, but the gentle ones that eat salmon out of a stream, steal picnic baskets, and take long naps in sunny meadows.
What makes him a valuable team member to LJC:
It’s so cliche but I am a hard worker and a team player! No job is too small, no problem is too big. I just think if you have the attitude of “do whatever it takes,” anything and everything is possible. If LJC isn’t successful, I am not going to be. If you work hard, and go above and beyond — especially when no one is watching or knows about it — everything else will fall into place.
